Blu Rays not working on M1 Mac

Postby RedRax » 27 Aug 2022 19:56

Hi! I'm trying to play an iso of a blu ray on my m1 mac (v12.5.1 (21G83)). I've tried the instructions on here: https://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/, but I still keep getting the same error message:

"Blu-ray error
This Blu-ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding, and your system does not have it."

I've already installed the aacs library through the link above, so I don't know what i'm doing wrong. There's nothing wrong with the iso i'm using, as I've played it on an older intel mac through vlc without any problem, but you can find the iso here: https://archive.org/download/animusic-h ... IMUSIC.iso.

Update: I installed MakeMKV for decrypting and while it still ins't working, I'm getting a different error message:
"Blu-ray error
Blu-ray Disc is corrupted."
