video wall setup

Postby urungus » 15 Aug 2022 14:43

Hi, I am running VLC 3.0.17.4 Vetinari on my windows machine and struggling to get the video wall feature working
I found the video wall settings under Tools > Preferences > Video > Show Settings "All" > Video > Splitters > Image Wall
But I am unsure about what to enter in the "Active windows" (lets say I have 3 monitors and want to use two of them in the wall) and "Element aspect ratio" fields ? Is there an online guide with examples for the video wall feature, I could not find one.
Thanks

Thanks … I have managed to get my video split into separate windows, however when I drag each window to appropriate monitor and click the maximize button, I am still seeing title bar “VLC (Direct3D11 output)” and Windows 10 taskbar at bottom - how can I hide these ? I have tried “Fullscreen”, “Minimal Interface”, “Fullscreen Interface” but none seem to do the trick. Also tried restarting Windows explorer - no luck
