Skipping intro

[Manual] We can provide specific time amount forward button to skip intro of specific same type of videos for like series forward.

[Automated] As well as we can create automatic time driven forward micro like system by giving screenshot of specific frame or we can directly ask user to point out from where we can take frame to skip (user will run video and select specific frame to capture) like starting of intro. Whenever frame comes then video will skip/forwarded by entered time.

Please do this for both VLC for Android as well as VLC for windows

Hello,

This is nice feature but it requires a lot of code and even VLC Core modifications. This is not our priority right now.

Fortunately, VLC is open-source and will look forward to external contributions brining this feature.

You can already customise the skip length to set it to, say, 90 seconds.

I don't think we want to add a dedicated UI widget for this otherwise. The GUI is cluttered enough as it is.
