videos open too big for the screen

windows display size is a problem as you can't preset set window size in VLC, so that when you open a video it goes to your default setting.

All videos open too big for the screen, and you have to resize each one manually which becomes tedious when viewing many successive videos.

Hi,

You can preset window size in VLC if you want in the advanced preferences (--width / --height in CLI). By default, it opens with the size of the video. If you're viewing successive video and that's the main issue, you can also disable UI autoscaling to video size.

I've discovered that i can use the Zoom 2:1 key at least reduce size after opening quickly, but can't change default size
