How to prevent VLC from automatically playing next video?

Hi, I have searched the settings several times (.just in case I missed something) but cannot find how to prevent VLC for android automatically playing the next video. I am using Lenovo tablet with android 10.
Can anyone solve this mystery for me please?

If you're opening your medias in the browser screen, it's the default behavior (but it will change in the next version). For now, just tap the 3 dot icon and tap "Append".

Next beta, which includes this fix, will probably be released this week. For the next stable version, we still don't know.

I like this imminent change. In the Audio section, when navigating ALBUMS, it's sensible to assume user wants to play an entire album; in Browse, it's not sensible to assume user wants to include the entire remainder of the same folder.
