I customized the interface which is working well, but when I switch to FULL SCREEN VIEW all my custom tools disappear.
Is there a way to get the added buttons to stay in full screen view?

You need to add the same custom controls to the Fullscreen toolbar. It's a tab in the same menu you used to create your current configuration.
