Hi
I have just loaded VLC (latest edition and when that didn't work deleted it and downloaded 3.08 ver) onto my iMac running the latest Mac OSX. VLC cannot read mp3 files I copy paste into VLC Player. VLC does play music off my Music folder but not files uploaded. via the standard add files window. It makes a list of names but shows zero duration / an empty file. The files are there... as verified by their MB size in the their original location. Any ideas how to get this working will be appreciated, thank you.

FYI - the problem I was having above is resolved by a workaround in another thread - https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 81#p527294
