Debian sid VLC 3.0.17.3-1 update today.
Update today and VLC no longer starts except for a very brief small screen with "Privacy and Network Access" label.
Downgraded to 3.0.16 with same results.
Suggestions please.

If rolling back makes no difference, the problem is not VLC. Most likely some underlying library or system component that was updated needs rolling back. Check your apt logs.

There was an issue with VA-API last week in Debian sid. Now it works as expected. Could you retry?
