Full-screen aspect ratio deforms after update

Postby Demogorgon » 17 Feb 2022 06:50

Hello! For the last few weeks, when I use CMD-F or click the bottom-right button to go full screen, the aspect ratio deforms so as to *fill* the entire screen (1920 x 1080). I then have to hit "C" or "A" 11 times to get it to select DEFAULT. Otherwise, everything is tall and skinny, as you would expect.

Is this a new Preferences setting I need to change? How can I fix this?

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm unable to reproduce this issue on macOS 12.1.

For me, after full screening with CMD + f, the video is already at the default aspect ratio so changing the ratio with "C" or "A" lead to circling around all aspect ratios.

Could you maybe share a sample file for us to test ?

Hello! Wasn't aware of this response, and I stupidly posted another. Gotta lay off the CBD.

Well, every video on my machine deforms in this way. There are no videos that do NOT so deform.
