VLC M3U Playlist not working in Twonky server

I created a playlist in VLC from flac CD's Public Shared Library on my NAS Shared drive, and saved them in the Shared Music folder.

They are not showing up in my Twonky server for streaming playback.

Spoke too early.

Well something is not quite right. I added another m3u playlist created by VLC saved it, same as above, and it is not showing up in the Twonky server, Crowe Playlist 2CD.

So here is the issue! VLC is creating incompatible m3u playlist for Twonky server.

Twonky server does not like the %20's. Why is VLC doing this.

With Text Edit I did find and replace %20 with a space, and playlist appears.

Why is VLC doing this.

Because white spaces must be encoded in URLs, in this case, file URLs. VLC follows Postel's law here.
