Hi.
A few days ago I made a similar post, but it seems that no one here is able to download a file hosted on my Telegram channel. Unfortunately, the forum doesn't have a way to delete posts, so I made this new one, with more details on the problem. I hope no one has a hard time downloading a file hosted on DropBox.
I created an MKV video file with TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 7.
It uses VP9 codec and OPUS audio, at 1fps.
It runs perfectly in all programs that open and run MKV files, (Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, etc.) But VLC 3.0.16 crashes and exits the screen as soon as I open the file. VLC just disappears from the screen if I open an MKV with VP9 codec at 1 fps!
It runs perfect if I open it in VLC 4.0 64-bit (
https://nightlies.videolan.org/) but the program is imperfect, it do not allow me to resize the window dragging by the corners. So I uninstalled version 4.0 and went back to the official version 3.0.16.
You can download the MKV video file at
