Video position in full screen mode, MAC OS Video alignment setting

Postby alxemerald » 09 Feb 2022 06:37

Hi, in a full-screen mode black bands are added horizontally on top and bottom and the video is centered vertically. How put the video on the bottom of the screen? Obviously, the black band goes up. I don't need to crop the video, just change the alignment from center to bottom.
Can't find "Video alignment" setting in MAC version.
Preferences -> advanced -> video - it's not there
Is it possible to change?
Thanks!

--> Yes, it should be there. look for some setting similar to "video alignment", here you can align top or bottom

@alxemerald Please make sure you look in the correct place. There is a simple prefs pane (accessible via vlc-> Settings) then click on advanced button to open the expert mode showing all settings. The on the left side there is the video category on the top level.
