VLC crashes under wayland session

Hello,

When playing video clips in wayland session VLC crahes most of the times. When this happenes not only VLC is closed, but all other open apps (vivaldi browser, dolphin file manager) closes too. No problem with mp3 files, just videos.

VLC does not take the entire session down when it crashes. That screams of the display server crashing, so you should rather check with KDE or your distro.

Yes, looks like a bug in KDE or deeper behind. What dmesg/KDE logs are saying? Which version of VLC are you launching?
