VLC not reading " INTRO " video

DVD was made with a 34 second " INTRO " clip played before the actual Dvd Menu is seen. Dvd played on a dvd player , opens with the " intro " clip , then a few seconds later , jumps to the main menu. When played on my pc , using VLC , it opens to the main menu , bypassing the " intro " clip..Have viewed the dvd on different players and the intro clip is working..

Try this:
Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: ALL
Input codecs -> Access modules -> DVD with menus
Untick the option "Start directly in menu".
Save the preferences then exit and restart VLC.

will do..thxs... intro plays first on home dvd players...thxs will check settings
