VLC for iOS 3.2.13 - Unable to access Linux SMB server

Hello,

I would like to report an issue with VLC for iOS version 3.2.13.

It worked previously, but now when I try to connect to the server I am prompted for authentication. This shouldn't be the case (anonymous login enabled).

Here is the smb.conf from the server:

I'd be willing to try the beta if you want to send me an invite.

I am also having an issue with 3.2.13 seeing a samba server and connecting to that server using an ipad. this did work till about six weeks ago.

i am told there is a beta which seems to get around what i would consider a bug.

how would one get a copy of this beta?

The beta is in its last iteration, the release should be landing soon.

I was able to get this going on iOS and tvOS by adding

server min protocol = NT1

to the global section of my smb4.conf file. I'm running samba4 on FreeBSD.
