Random screenshots

Hello, I would like to know if anyone else has struggled with the same issue and maybe found some ways to solve it.

Not so long ago while cleaning my laptop folders i found like thousands of screenshots from videos that I've watched with the player.
While watching any video, the player creates screenshots without me knowing it, even if you put the video on pause, the screenshots will still be continuously adding to the image folder. Only after I exit the player the making of shots stops. Never before have I had such a problem, so hopefully someone might help me with this.

Looks like you have the Scene Video Filter enabled.
Turn it off in the right panel of Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: All -> Video -> Filters
Once done you must save, exit and restart VLC for the changes to be applied.
