Can you take a screenshot with timestamp of the video ?

Postby tom123 » 14 Oct 2021 04:36

Currently a VLC screenshot will look like: vlcsnap-2021-10-13-22h00m00s000

I'm looking for something like this: vlcsnap-2021-10-13--22h00m00s000-time-12:34 <- time in the actual video

I know you could just watch something windowed, and hit the windows print screen and it would show the time stamp in the playbar

But say you're watching in full screen and don't want to ruin the vibe or hit stop, but still want to quickly take a screenshot in VLC (shift + S) but also get the timestamp for the video included.

THANKS !
