[NSFW] Hypothetical "adult" version of VLC

Theoretically speaking, if I wanted to fork VLC media player and create my own "adult" version (which I have no intention to publish; this is for my own personal use) that can open videos from adult sites such as PornHub, XVideos, etc.: Where would I need to place the code to fetch videos from those sites?

Yeh... nope. Looking through the source of the PornHub homepage as well as the youtube.lua file, I'm discovering that the former is convoluted as all h-e-double hockey sticks, and the latter looks to me to be bloated. And that may contribute to why people are saying VLC itself is bloated.
