VLC Last.fm scrobbling

Hi all,

Does any of you have trouble connecting VLC with Last.fm? This was working no problem until I sent my macbook to be repaired. Now, I connected VLC with Last.fm in Preferences->Audio, updated VLC, updated Last.fm scrobbler and still does not connect. Can anybody help with this?
