VLC on IOS only sees partial UPNP video library

Postby myslawer » 05 Jun 2021 17:05

If I connect to KODI via UPNP, the video library stops at the early K's... which is roughly half of the library, showing approximately 150 videos out of a library of about 300 videos.

I have only come across some posts around RAM being a limitation, but no indication of why this is the case, or if there is a way to increase the count.

If I connect to the KODI system (running on Windows) via SMB, and navigate through all the folder structure it will show all the files. But due to the depth of the folder structure this is cumbersome as VLC does not remember where I last was and each time I connect need to renavigate.

I am open to any possible solutions, and thanks in advance.

This is a known bug in VLC-iOS that will be fixed in the next update.

Moving this thread to the iOS section of the forum.
