playing_changed not working in macos

Hello
I am trying to use playing_changedin Lua exttension in MacOs and it is not working.
I need to catch moment when the file starts playing.
Also here is the same problem https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues/22778
Is there solution for this problem?
