Convert feature no longer working with youtube videos

Hello everybody.
I'm posting this as the Convert function stopped working for me, after I've been using it for months to extract MP3audio out of short yt videos (Windows 10). I think I've already read almost everything about youtube streaming issues here on the forum, and I'm now using the latest youtube.luac official file as suggested in the last post here: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=156934.

Streaming works fine, but when I press Convert, nothing happens: I see an orange bar going back and forth in the timebar (I'm pretty sure that when it worked this would move to the end, suggesting that the process was over). Then the video starts, creating an empty file with the name I chose.
Just to rule out other general issues, I've tried converting local videos and it normally works.
Any help would be very welcome, thanks!

Same here.
I've tried to use other versions of the youtube.luac, as well as version 3.0.12 (and combinations). Somehow, I cannot get it to work anymore.
