Audio Cuts Every Few Seconds - Only for some mp4 files

Postby wolfspirit » 18 Mar 2021 13:48

Having a weird issue where audio playback on some videos appear to cut out every few seconds. They however, work fine on other media players like WMP

While this is happening, the logs seem to go into a loop as such:

Code: Select all

Hope you guys can find a solution!

no full logs or sample, can't tell anything
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !

If a full log is too big upload it to Pastebin and then copy / paste the link to it in your next post. https://pastebin.com

We still need a sample file. About 100MB should be sufficient. You can upload that to either WeTransfer or Zippyshare. You don't need to create an account on either site.

You can split the file using this utility: https://www.gdgsoft.com/gsplit
