Soundcloud links no longer playing

The usual Open Network trick for playing Soundcloud links seems to have stopped working today. Just this morning I listened to something from SC in VLC without a hitch, and now nothing will load (even the same thing I listened to just a few hours earlier). Need an update on that .lua file I suppose?

Even with a seemingly working extractor, it's failing due to what looks like a bug in the adaptive plugin:

It might be a bug in the extractor though.

Same issue here but I do not understand how to solve it..

I have no .lua files but .luac (VLC 3.0.11) - Windows 10
I have soundcloud.luac and youtube.luac and the script looks like this (not like the script file I can copy/paste in the solution proposed here)

Just delete "soundcloud.luac" and put the updated "soundcloud.lua" in the same folder.

Downloaded the latest version of VLC, deleted the old one and it works ok now ! Thanks for your help
