Weird green screen when repeating a video

Postby Markix » 01 Oct 2020 16:02

So... I wanted to play a short video on repeat and when the video was repeating the 2nd time, a weird green screen https://imgur.com/a/dnKY1UF.

How can I stop this issue?

In vlc hit Ctrl + P to open prefs and click the Input / Codecs button. Disable Hardware-accelerated decoding via the dropdown menu. Save, exit and restart vlc.

Thank you!

That solved my perennial problem too.... playing videos in a playlist, and at some point getting this all green screen. Using version 3.0.12. NVidia graphics card and drivers.
