Any idea how to put file name into memo list during presentation??

Postby TopskyIII » 22 Jan 2021 18:12

During presentations there may be up to hundred video clips and few of these appear to be worthless or need editing.
Is there any shortcut rapidly mark video clip name during presentation for reference, which helps to find file on next day?

Player History is too short ... if there might be any option to lengthen list to 40-100 items...
"Shift+S" Take a snapshot doesn't work since doesn't save file name but only time.

Perhaps there is some other keyboard shortcuts to mark file somehow?
To send file name to whatever list, where to find later?
Any ideas?

Tools > Preferences (Simple) > Video: Prefix [vlcsnap-$N-]

Great!

Could this setting omit time from the name end?
Then this could solve also another old problem.

Thanks.
