Blu-ray audio being disabled

Same exact issue as this one on Mac using VLC 3.0.11.1:

Extremely annoying to re-enable audio after EVERY action.

Would love to know of any Mac player that will show a blu-ray ISO without degrading DTS audio and/or dropping frames.
