can't retrieve audio cd information

having a hard time figuring out how to get cd track and album information. i tried updating the CDDB server to freedb.videolan.org, but that doesn't seem to work.

thanks. tried using gnudb.org. VLC still doesn't retrieve any info. any other settings I need to configure besides below? i also tried port 80

well for the hell of it i changed the port from 8880 to 80 and it now works.

Just tried the same. Though it didn't work until I... switched it off and switched it on again. (closed VLC then restarted it.)
