Drag Items in Playlist to Change Order ?

Postby MusoCity » 27 Oct 2020 13:20

Windows Media Player don't work to well on Win10 the CPU goes right up, so I'm using VLC with WMP Skin.
How do I drag items in the playlist up/down.
Say if I drag mp3's into it but want to change the order while it's playing, most other media players let you drag the order.
I tried Ctrl+drag Ctrl+Shif+drag Shift+drag but no go.
Am I missing something simple ?
Also how do I dock the playlist into the right of the main window so I can still have visualization and play videos ?

The Default skin version has the same issue, you can't drag items in the playlist to change order.

Playlist view mode? ("Change playlistview" button above playlist or VLC menu: View > Playlist view mode > ...)
You can resize or even hide the left menu.

Ok , you need to go to Preferences > Look and feel > Native style (rather than Skin > Default)
then you get the basic bright white interface.
The skins are so more modern but no control over the playlist :(
So I will have to go back to the Windows Media Player skin and just make do without being able to change the play order.
Thanks anyway.
