Vlsub tool redirect?

Hi there,
I live in a country (Australia) that needlessly censors useful websites like opensubtitles.org.
Is there anyway to redirect the inbuilt vlsub tool to one of its mirrors or proxy sites? Or is a vpn my only option?

Solved.
I've just found out about dns settings,
Aus ISP's only blocked the default dns server, i changed mine to Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 and now can access opensubtitles.org and other blocked websites
