VLC Fullscreen Question

Postby zlloyd1 » 16 Oct 2020 19:40

Hello all, been a LONG time since I posted anything here, but I am at my wits end with this....
My VLC Player that I use on my Macintosh laptop, is constantly popping up the small window at the bottom of the screen when in fullscreen mode. Unfortunately is seems to be timed as well to hit on the best scenes in the video, and block them / distract from the viewing. It acts as if I have moved the mouse, or touch a key, but there is only the small window at the bottom, and no other indicator that anything was done. No cursor or Mouse pointer, nothing but the little box showing the progress of the video, which disappears after not touching anything for a few second in fullscreen mode, but keeps coming back sporadically throughout the video. :shock:
Is this some thing that anyone else has seen, or can explain?? :?:
Thanks in advance!! :) :D :)

Hi,

It should work correctly but, wild guess, maybe your sound system is loud enought to be making the mouse move ?

@unidan
The mouse is not moving though, if the mouse moves you would see the cursor, but you see nothing but the little menu bar thing!!
