Quality of life request for My Music folders

It would be very beneficial for VLC to allow expanding folders without stopping current playback. I've tried right clicking with no option to expand a folder and resorted to double clicking, but this stops the current song. The functionality is already there for folders which have already been double clicked, in the form of a right facing arrowhead. The change would be to show the right arrowhead for every folder at the beginning or include an expand folder option in the right click menu that does not stop the music. Listening to music doesn't usually include composing a whole playlist when you've just got home from work. This would allow finding the song or artist you've chosen to hear in the moment while another song is winding down. Thanks
