Problems with .m3u from NAS

Maybe I'm missing something very basic

Having problems with VLC playing back .m3u playlist served by my UPnP Server (MinimServer) on my Synology NAS, even with .m3u file that contains just one Internet radio station URL. Clicking on the .m3u file via VLC's "LOCAL NETWORK" -> "Universal Plug'n'Play" results in VLC playing some other random .wav track from the UPnP Server.

Any advise?
