When I try to install the update I get this message: "It was not possible to download a cryptographic signature for the downloaded file “c:\windows\temp\vlc-3.0.11-win32.exe” Therefore it was deleted."
What is the problem?
Thanks,
Chuck
Since this is related to your own download we can't tell much about a missing signature...I GIVE UP... I can't find any responses to this problem and I have had it for several months ... My version of VLC works mostly, but a feature I desperately need right now does not work. I was told to update to the latest version -- except it DOES NOT UPDATE because of the same problem mentioned above, and reiterated here:
It was not possible to download a cryptographic signature for the downloaded
file "C:\Users\Cyphr!1\AppData\Local\Temp\vlc-3.0.12-win64.exe". Thus, it was
deleted.
Does anyone monitor these forums? I've never used one like this before and beyond searching for keywords, I cannot seem to find anything useful regarding my problems...
Thanks in advance

(I forgot to tell about my current VLC version, wich is 3.0.11)My computer (Win10 - 2004) has the cryptographic services running and I'm experiencing the same error when trying to update to the 3.0.14 version.
I get a slew of Error opening file for writing and the listed files are all in the VideoLAN\VLC directory.
