Opening a https stream from the commandline

Postby karel1980 » 03 Jul 2020 10:17

Hi,

When opening a https stream using Media -> Open Network Stream works fine, but when I use the commandline, its not openging and giving this erros:

Code: Select all

Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MR
I tried adding ports and such, but that didnt make any difference. Is there something I am missing?

Try the following Commandline for a 64-Bit Version of the VLC-Player and save it for Example as "Https-Stream.bat".

Code: Select all

@echo off start "" "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" https://593aed234297b.streamlock.net/gotvsjoerd/gotvsjoerd/playlist.m3u8 :no-sout-all :sout-keep
