V3.0.7: Shortcut Ctrl-L not working - works after language change

OS: Win10 x64, german
VLC: 3.0.7 Vetinari
HW: Laptop DELL, Intel i7, Radeon RX graphics

Reproduce (first occurence):
Upgrade from VLC 3.0.6 to 3.0.7. After upgrade Ctrl+L does not work any more.

Workaround / remedy:
Change Language from "Auto" to "American English". Restart VLC. Then Ctrl+L works again (opens playlist).

Repoduce:
If you change the language back to "Auto", Ctrl+L does no longer work.

By the way: Ctrl+L is not in the hotkey list even when Cltl+L works.

For me it's works only one way: Ctrl-L pops up the playlist, but another Ctrl+L does not hide it.

Yes, I do.

ctrl+L shortcut (sadly) never worked on the playlist window, but it should work on the video window.

I am digging up this old thread because this issue still persists. But to me, it is not a language issue as in changing the language does not affect the problem in any way.

For me, if I focus the player window and hit ctrl+l, nothing happens. If I close vlc and reopen it, it will show on the first ctrl+L but after I close the playlist, it doesn't work anymore.

How --please stay polite-- hard is it program a function to open a playlist window when a user hits ctrl_L? This media player is becoming pure garbage because all of the functionality is either bugged out or flat out --please stay polite-- up completely. Who in the hell do yall have working on this... 5 year olds?

The issue still exists. I have tested on different PCs.
