Ripping a DVD does not only rips part of the movie

Postby prborg » 07 Jun 2020 02:36

I am trying to rip a 2+ hrs DVD movie and the resulting file is only 30 minutes or so. I am running Catalina 10.15.5 on a MacBook Pro 15-inch, VLC is version 3.0.10 (Intel 64bit). I have re-installed and rebooted (yes I use to use a Windows machine so I am used to rebooting). Also for some reason the resulting file is in a TS format even though I am telling it to save as an MP4.

TIA!

Consider using Handbrake written by friends of us based on our code which was specifically created for this purpose and offers various features you might like.
