[3.0.10] [macOS Mojave 10.14.6] No sound after pause

Hi,

This bug is a little weird, cause I don't know how to reproduce it exactly.

Here is the facts: when I read a sound file, I press F8 for pause. And sometimes, when I press F8 again, the reading continues but there is no more sound.

And I need to make a Force Quit to close VLC.

Same problem. But I pause manually and then, after a few of these pauses (I am closely reviewing video files), the sound unexpectedly cuts out. VLC also seems to hang then because it will only force quit.

start again and it's OK.

EDIT:
A few mins later it crashed entirely:
Blank screen. Buzzing sound. Black screen.
Mac rebooted - the first time thatn has EVER happened.
Rebooted OK.
Restarted VLC and other apps.
ran OK...
Movie was The.Founder.2016.DVDScr.XVID.AC3.HQ.Hive-CM8.avi with subtitles: The.Founder.2016.WEB-DL.XviD.MP3-FGT.srt
Crash was at VLC -1:18:55 or so.

So as already stated on the other topics, this is a known issue and should be fixed for 3.0.11 which will be released soon.
