URL streams fail randomly, application hangs

Some YouTube URLs plays normally

However, others, such as [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45PUoPK2hkc[/url]
abruptly stop by freezing, the application hangs if you try to enter and start playing the same or another URL again during the same or even new session - after the relaunch. In the situation the application hangs and is only force quit.

Hi, I can not reproduce the issue with the mentioned video.

Can you please provide the crashlog you get when you force-kill VLC? (If no Window opens with that you should be able to find it in the Console.app)
