Persistent security errors

For some reason all of a sudden I'm getting a "Problem accessing a system resource" error for every folder. I can't pinpoint any changes I've made recently (besides regular OS updates but it doesn't seem to coincide with a recent update) I've checked the settings and they are all correct. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times as a remedy with no luck. Tried a nightly build which did work without giving the error but 4.0 isn't a daily driver yet. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ah...see the other thread now but thought it didn't apply as I'm getting the error from my main drive (not external). No way to disable the warning while a fix happens?
