Is there any hotkey for "Open Playlist"

I use video clips playlists from Windows computer displayed on big screen + remote gyroscope aero mouse for vlc computer control.
Most common buttons used are next, jump etc.

Is there any "open playlist" hotkey options?
From Keyboard there is shortcut "ctrl+o" to navigate to playlist and open it.

But I need an hotkey, possible to program for multimedia remote control.
Presently one available remote control option for hotkey is "menu" or "home" button.

I'd program this to open Playlist, instead "context menu" by default vlc setup.
But can't find any hotkey for "Open ...." to program to act with menu or home buttons.

My Gyroscope aero mouse doesn't have any software capable to program buttons shortcuts.

Any ideas for such hotkey?

Is there any trick to convert Playlists to DVD menu?
Since my gyro mouse has (DVD) menu button it might be worth of trying

Perhaps any choice to make libraries accessible with hot keys?
