Hi,
I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong place, I'm fairly new to using VLC and this forum. I've tried a bunch of solutions I've found unlike but haven't had any success.
I'm using the Version 3.0.8 Vetinari of VLC. I'm trying to watch .mp4 video lectures. Again, sincere apologies if I am providing non-pertinent information. The files are around an hour 20 minutes each, the specific one I'm currently having some trouble with its 990.8 MB. All I can tell you about the quality of the videos is that they are "1920x1010." I'm not particularly tech-savvy so I'm not sure if this is correct and/or relevant.
As far as I can tell with my amateur eye, they don't appear to be of high quality (they're super grainy). I can watch the lecture straight through and pause with no problems; however, if I try to scrub to a location or use one of the arrow keys to go forward or back a couple of seconds the whole thing freezes.
I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions you may have. Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
JS
