Streaming to Chromecast Ultra through Ethernet

A Chromecast Ultra has 2 interfaces (wifi + ethernet).
I need to use ethernet but VLC only use the wifi interface to discover the chromecast IP address.
How can I force VLC to use the ethernet network for the discovery process?
Can I specify an IP address in the streaming command?

The problem was on my side (in fact, on Chromecast side)
Ethernet has to be connected when you do the initial configuration of the Chromecast. If it's not configured at that time, the Chromecast will ignore your Ethernet connection. The solution is to erase the configuration and recreate it.
Once Ethernet is recognized, the Chromecast will only report the Ethernet IP during discovery. You will not be able to cast through WiFi anymore (unless you disconnect the Ethernet cable).
I do not understand the intent of Google engineers.
