Audio File conversion

Postby PRS_1000 » 14 Feb 2020 14:50

New User question?
I'm converting my iTunes files to play on Android device. My initial test converted some files from .m4a to .flac but lost all the media data.
I have studied the help files and cannot find any reference as to why it is not converting the audio tags. I have a large library of music
and it is not practical to manually edit every song's media information. Any suggestion on what I am doing incorrect? Thank you.

Why do you want to convert your files ?
Android is able to natively play non DRM .M4A files, so does VLC

I found I had to enter the destination file name the same as the conversion file name except end it in mp3 instead of m4a. But my problem is it seems like it's taking forever to convert so I think there's something else wrong lol!
