VLC Ac3 decoding to Audio Interface

Hi everyone!
I tried to find a answer for my question before I post it but only found info about ac3 pass-thru.

So my question is, is there a way to make VLC decode AC3 and patch it to my RME fireface analog outputs? I don’t want to send coaxial signal to a decoder. I just what the discrete signals to come out of the computer using a core audio compatible sound interface either connected by usb or FireWire.
