m3u playlist corrupt

Postby john6528 » 25 Dec 2019 05:39

Playlist "New 1st Week Music.m3u loads and says:
"E:\Seminar Music\1st Week\Barfly.wav"

It works a couple times then suddenly this comes up:

"Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///E:/Music/Seminar%20Music/1st%20Week/Barfly.wav'. Check the log for details."

Where did %20 come from? Why can't it find it all of a sudden? Looks like %20 is just subbing for space. It's just weird. I had 6 playlists written with VLC working well then they all went nuts.

This is just on a personal computer reading off the E drive

Jeez I hope there's an answer to this
John

Can you open the m3u file in question with a text app and see if there is anything suspicious in it?
