VLC stream to chromecast freezes after pausing

Hi,

I use VLC 3.0.8 for mac and the Sony Bravia embedded chromecast.
When I stream a video, if I pause it and play it back again, then after a few seconds the image freezes but sound continues.
And then its over... if I try to pause it again and wait or anything it won't restart. I have to reload the movie.
(Before the streaming starts I get the "VLC needs to convert the video..." dialogue box pop up.)

Anyone ever got that problem and fixed it?
