3.2.5 has messed up my library (file name issue?)

Postby Brophs » 05 Dec 2019 00:43

Hi,

I updated my iPad Pro 10.5 to VLC 3.2.5 and my file library, - which displayed the correct names previously - is now showing file names using parts of the file name that are irrelevant eg tbs or river. It means I can’t tell what any of the files are and the groupings are all wrong. I’ve rescanned the library but no joy. Hopefully I don’t have to upload the entire library again?

I can’t see how to attach a screenshot but I can forward it I’d needed.

Thanks

Can confirm same behaviour here. Some video files have randomly disappeared and there are no titles for the remaining files. They are now called "hdtv".

(reinstalling VLC and uploading new files has no effect)

We identified the media file title issue and this will be fixed in the next release.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
