No grid viewing when grouping videos - v3.2.2

Postby potplanty » 24 Nov 2019 12:29

Since the latest update on Android (3.2.2) it seems that you are now unable to view videos in a grid mode when some sort of grouping is applied.

If I have all my videos ungrouped it will show in a grid mode without issue. However as soon as select an option in "group videos" it will swap to list mode automatically.

There is no option to change this and it's very frustrating as list mode looks absolutely awful.

Three dots menu at the top right -> Display in grid (or Display in list)

That's not an option though. The only options on the 3 dot menu are "sort by", "group videos" and "refresh".

That option only shows up when everything is ungrouped which is the problem. I can view grid but all my videos show up as a separate entry. As soon as you group videos it automatically switches to list mode.

You're right. For now when grouping videos, you cannot switch between grid and list.
It will be possible in the next version (3.3.x) though.

Got a weird bug. I added videos and when I started the app and refreshed to see the new videos, the first group was duplicated. The group's were one off at that point. I think ungrouping and regrouping made it go away. I tried multiple things to make it go away so I'm not 100 percent sure of exactly what I did to try and recreate for debugging purposes. V3.2.3.
