Is there an easy way to change the height of Subtitles

Postby SubtitlesLifeMatter » 20 Nov 2019 13:47

As you can see by my name, subtitles are really important to me. ESPECIALLY with the height, considering 99% of the times they're too high for me. So I know that you can change their height by going to advanced setting and all, but is there also a way to do that quicker, for example can I create a shortcut for that setting?

Sadly I don't know anything about shortcuts and short keys so I'm forced to ask here.

Also, when I'm already at it, how do I safe changes for vlc? The subtitles automatically go back in size to "normal" every time I close vlc. Even after pressing "safe" a million times in the preferences.

Thanks for helping me out, I'm new to such Internet forums so excuse me if I don't know how to use everything here.

Have you already tried the "Force subtitle" position in the advanced settings? Here is screenshot.

This should move up or down SRT subtitles. If the subtitles are in .ASS or a format with screen position information, then this won't work.

Hope this is helpful.
